Recently, Google came out with a new twist to their algorithm that has many publishers scratching their heads and wondering if they are on the brink of another ‘panda like’ update. With the launch of “Search, Plus Your World” (SPYW), Google is factoring in your site’s social activity into its search results. For those of you whose online companies depend on search traffic, it’s now imperative that your site’s content can be shared socially or you’ll be saying goodbye to organic search results.
What is “Search, Plus Your World?”
You’ve seen Google getting ready to do this for some time. There’s been the little +1 button next to every single search result over the last year and now that they have enough social data, Google is putting it to use. When you type in a search query into Google, the results that will appear first are the ones that are the most socially relevant to you as opposed to the results whose content may actually be the most relevant to your search. Publishers who have invested resources into building good content relative to popular search terms are now at a loss. Unless their site has a social connection to the search query, it will be much harder for it to be seen.

Using Po.st Helps
Po.st is the only ‘all-in-one’ sharing tool that helps publishers with SEO and ensures they adapt to these Google changes. With Po.st, publishers have access to every social sharing vehicle – all with one simple piece of code! Google+, Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn and dozens more, are all easily customizable and all able to be implemented within a few minutes.
What Should You Do?
Implement Po.st and make sure you include Google+ as one of the primary buttons displayed.
Make sure that the Po.st sharing buttons are prominent within your site’s layout (ideally beside or underneath every article header).
Make it known that you’d like your content to be shared. Encourage users to share with their friends. Include a “most shared” box on the side of your content that lets readers know what other content is being shared.

Good blogging!
Appreciate it for all your efforts that you have put in this. Very interesting info. “Every man is the architect of his own fortune.” by Appius Claudius.
Despite the argument of this article, po.st’s sharing widget appears to provide no option to +1 or share on Google+.
You have noted very interesting points! ps nice web site.
